first off... since my last post... wow, LJ is different...

Anyway... I WON JUNIOR SAILOR OF THE QUARTER for my command... BY DEFAULT!!! Bitches! Unfortunatly, I will actually have to compete for the regional... but hey whatever.

Oh and last week, I got to shoot at people in my division, and the platoon we're paird up with using Sim rounds... oh fuck yeah.

Yesterday I spent all day on the couch. From the couch I drank coffee and watched the independent film channel... all day long. It was gloomy and cold. Today, I slept in... I watched bad sci-fi from the afore mentioned couch. I went to the mall briefly and bought Depeche Mode - The Singles - 81-85. I plan on continuing with the couch as I eat a large bowl of Dinty Moore beef stew and drink more coffee.

So I was looking around on LJ and saw some very old entries on a friends page which got me thinking... I wonder how far back the entries on my page go!

All I have to say is "wow". I forgot a lot of that stuff.

and I am most definitely "Different..."

today I put 250 rounds through a Springfield Arms XD .45 ACP, 150 through a PP9 and an uncountable number through a P22...

all in all it was a very good day. I got my girlfriend out there to shoot too. (she liked shooting even if she wont admit it...)

Oh and I got a chance to fire off a few from a 1911. the 1911 was great, I like how the recoil felt, but you can't beat the 13 rounds double stack in the XD.... Hmmm... yeash... Mmmmmmmmmm....... So I'm buying a gun as soon as I can get the money together. Nobody gonna fuck with my haus!

I figure an AR15, Mossberg 590, and the 45 is enough firepower. thoughts?

In other news, I work with Infantry. YAY for infantry. I am going to attempt to not sleep for the next 48 hours. Updates will follow. Many updates. Fortunatly there is a soda machine here. Mmmmm mixing Pepsi and Mountian Dew....

I am still alive. I have transfered to Bremerton Washington where I will finish out my time in the navy unless I decide to get out. Yeah.

Oh and I have a truck. A truck whose transmission just decided to take a shit on me. So if you happen to want to donate funds to the "Save Jonas' Truck from Death" fund, feel free to drop me a line and let me know. And if anyone happens to have a working transmission that will bolt onto a Chevy 400 and fit onto a GMC 3/4 Ton part time four wheel drive truck with a newer tranfer case and that other thing thats really important and you happen to just want to give it to me, let me know.

I am going to paris!!! OMG!!! I will be there soon. Kind of a last minute trip, but I need a vacation.

Today I went Cigar shopping. I spent nearly $300... OMG It was great. I came home with a Humidor, double cigar tube, a new colibri lighter with matching cigarette case (I broke my last colibri... and I lost my case... very sad about that...). As For cigars, I bought three davidoffs (dominican because they don't make cubans anymore), two romeo y juilettas (cuban), two Hoyo de Monterys (cuban), two punchs (cuban), and two Monticristos (also cuban).

I love that cubans are leagal in italy.

So after I got back from this little spending extravaganza, I lit up one of the Davidoffs and had a Bombay Martini with my friend dodge. Ahhh life.

There is a major barracks inspection coming up. The CO is going to do them, so I have to keep my room super clean and keep my alcohol secured lest they think that I am an alcoholic who chooses to drink Grey Goose and Bombay.... dear god, Heaven forbid that an enlisted man have a fucking drink every now and then.... anyway...

Thats about it. I've spent the rest of the night being a bum and lounging in my bath robe. Oh I also took my new suit in to get tailored along with some shirts, and dropped off my dry cleaning. There really isn't too much to report on my life.

I can't wait to transfer in January. I need a vacation. GOD!

I GOT MY ORDERS! For those that understand:

In Jan 06 member instructed, detach from NAVSUPPACT NAPLES. Report NLT 13FEB06 SILVERDALE, WA. Member authorized 30 days leave, 4 days follow on, and 2 days travel.

Translation, I am authorized 2 days of travel time, 4 extra days for somthing strange that the military has a strange term for and 30 days of actual leave time. So, in early to mid January, I will check out of this place that I am in, here in italy. I will then take a flight back to the states, and be on leave at home for up to thirty days, and I will have to report to my next command in SILVERDALE, WA no later than the 13th of febuary.

PARTY!!! I'M NOT GOING TO CUBA! OR IMMEDIATLY TO IRAQ!! (but that will probably happen later)...

No, she isn't here, and no I have not killed her. This has to do with the internet. And yes, I will totally rent a cabin for my victory party. The hard part will be figureing out what the victory will be over...

Will I be sent to Iraq? Will bupers issue me orders to where I want to go? Who knows! But yes there will be a cabin.

I have finally created a website for my photography. It has been a long time in coming, and I finally sat down and did it. So far it isn't much. I still need to work on a mainpage for it, and figure out what other content I want to host, but right now, it is coming along.

The pictures there are from my Canon EOS 20D. I still need to scan in my prints, from the past. Keep checking, more will be coming as the weeks go by.

I am moving. Not physically... at least i guess not. But I am moving from Livejournal to myspace. I'm sure there will be cross posting for some time to come. But it's time for a change.

I went go-karting. In Italy, there are fewer regulations. No waiver of rights saying you wont sue if you die on their track...

I broadsided someone so hard, I flew out of my go-kart! I left my seat and flew over them, hit the ground, popped the shield off my helmet and landed on my back. All I can remember is trying to swerve around the other kart, and then getting up off the ground seeing my kart still moving realizing that i should be driving not lying down, getting back in the kart and GO GO GO!!

Only after everyone was yellowflagged at the starting line did i realize that I should have checked to see if my girlfriend was ok.... Oops. Seems I managed to knock the wheel off her kart. She was OK, but I have some road rash from the crash.

After they got her kart off the track, the race started up. I can't beleive I was actually thrown from a go-kart. It didn't even occur to me that I could have been hurt.

It fucking rocked. I wish I'd had a video camera attached to my head!

I am not going to cuba.

I am not comming home in July.

I am staying here until January.

I will go to silverdale washington after here and take over for the marines who are gaurding important navy stuff.

There they will PT the shit out of us.
